eBooks and Printable Downloads

PDF (Acrobat/Reader) printable format – MOBI (Kindle) format – EPUB (iBook) format

Aboard in France cruising details and practical guidance pages are available as PDF eBook downloads, fully enabled for printing (unlike the restricted online version) and for viewing on-screen on your notebook or netbook, or suitable hand-held device able to load standard .pdf (Adobe Reader) files – or Kindle .mobi files or the eBook standard .epub format.

Publication dates as of April 2011. There have been a few changes in the website-based information since then. We will be updating in the near future.

Using a Kindle on-board (using .mobi format eBooks) is particularly useful because it is completely readable in daylight and sunlight, for example at the helm. Whilst the display is (currently) monochrome only, the visible quality of images and photographs is still very acceptable – and text legibility is superb. Information here, on the various models of Kindle and other eReaders that are available.

The PDF format eBooks are particularly suited for laptops and for printing.

After having paid (using PayPal) you will be taken direct to our download service. You can choose to download immediately, or an emailed link will enable you to download (once) at any time during that day. Once downloaded to your computer the files can then be copied/moved to your eReader device (refer to operating instructions).
