Riviera Travel is a British river cruise line offering its passengers good quality and great value for money. With an eye on keeping fares low, prices do not include drinks and itineraries are limited to one shore excursion per port. That said, the modern fleet of ships is well equipped with a premium feel and staterooms are generously sized.

Riviera River Cruise Routes
From the elegant bustle of Paris and the rural beauty of Normandy, to the medieval wonders of Alsace and the vine-clad splendour of wine country, no matter where you’d like to go, Riviera has an itinerary to take you there. Explore the majestic Rhine and Moselle regions, take in Paris and northern France on the Seine and taste your way through Burgundy and Provence on the Rhône.
Riviera boasts one of the most modern river fleets, all named after famous British writers. Suites are available, but standard cabins are a good size and most have balconies that open up panoramic views. They come equipped with all the comforts you’d expect of a hotel, plus tea and coffee making facilities (well, it is a British cruise line!). The crew to passenger ratio is one to four.
Ambience & Cuisine
On board you will find the ships modern and elegant in an understated way, with a friendly, relaxed atmosphere throughout and touches of warm wood to make passengers feel cosy and relaxed. Although still very much an occasion, this is perhaps a slightly more relaxed dining experience than with other cruise lines. The four course dinner every evening is the highlight, featuring international classic and regional specialities. Drinks are not included in the price, but you can pre-purchase an unlimited drinks package at a very reasonable price.
Expert guided excursions are included in the price (one per port) and generally they are in the morning, leaving the afternoons free to do as you wish. Most evenings are spent in port so you can enjoy a walk into town after dinner. It’s a relaxing approach that leaves plenty of time to explore on your own.
